Terms of Service
Last updated: March 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Timedox platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service.
2. Account Registration
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Timedox cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
3. Subscription and Billing
Timedox offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Pricing is per active employee per month. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
We may change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle — whether monthly or annual, your plan and access to paid features remain active through the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged for the next cycle. We do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing cycle, except where required by law. You can cancel from your account billing settings or by contacting support.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Timedox only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the service to violate any local, state, national, or international law.
You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service, other accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to the service.
5. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all data you upload to Timedox. We do not claim ownership over your time tracking data, employee records, or any other content you provide.
You grant Timedox a limited license to use your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service.
6. Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for the Timedox platform. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance.
We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.
7. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 90 days following cancellation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Timedox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Timedox in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
